The automatic AI translation of documents in Operations1 enables immediate translation of content into additional languages without manual effort. As part of multilingual documents, you can provide each employee with the language they understand best. This leads to error reduction and shorter processing times. Whole rollouts at foreign locations can also be accelerated with this feature.

In the first step, the languages for which you want to provide a translation are activated.

In the next step, the translation is inserted automatically by starting the translation in the desired target language. There is also the option to define the source language for the translation. For example, if the document was initially created in English and the German translation is to be based on this content, the selection can be changed accordingly.

It should be noted that only all empty fields of the target language, including steps, operations, and interactions, are translated. Document titles, modules, media files, and materials remain untranslated. Since only empty fields in the target language are translated, individual words or entire sentences can be adjusted as desired without being overwritten in further translations.

In the background, we use the AI translation service from Microsoft Azure to ensure the highest quality translations.
