We are convinced that AI helps our users perform their jobs more effectively. Our goal is to reduce manual effort where it adds little value, while providing intelligent support to improve the quality of decisions, outcomes, and overall speed. This targeted use of AI drives productivity across the entire organization.
Our AI-powered features are developed with a clear focus on transparency, reliability, and measurable impact. For every AI-supported functionality, we also provide a manual alternative to ensure flexibility and user control. All AI-enhanced features are clearly labeled, allowing users to understand when and how AI is being applied.
🛠️ AI Features in Operations1
Overview of current AI-powered features:
Feature | What it does | Why AI is used | How AI is being used |
Imports existing Word, PowerPoint, or Excel documents into Operations1 as new drafts. Users retain full control to edit, discard, or publish. | Previously, users had to manually copy content from existing documents into Operations1 — a time-consuming, low-value task. AI enables automatic content mapping, reducing transfer efforts by up to 80% and accelerating time to value. | AI (LLM) analyzes the text of documents to map textual information to the provided Operations1 data structure.
Automatically generates draft version change notes. Users can review, edit, or discard the AI suggestion. | Creating meaningful change notes was manual and error-prone. AI identifies differences and generates relevant summaries, reducing user effort while maintaining quality. | AI (LLM) takes only the strings where changes have been made from the previous and current document versions to generate a clear summary of key changes.
Translates document content from one language to another. | By integrating with Azure Translation Services, we offer high-quality, embedded multilingual support across a wide range of languages with just one click. | Automatically translates text from the source language to the selected target language.
AI (LLM) analyzes the interaction context and content of attached PDF documents to generate a task with a relevant title, criticality level, and solution hints. | Manually investigating failed interactions is time-consuming and inconsistent. AI enables fast, context-aware task creation and solution suggestions using existing knowledge. | AI (LLM) analyzes the interaction context and content of attached PDF documents to generate a task with a relevant title, criticality level, and solution hints. |
