Compact overview: Requirements

  • LAN, WLAN or mobile Internet with at least 16,000 kbit/s download and 1,024 kbit/s upload

  • internet browser Chrome 87 or higher, Microsoft Edge 87 or higher, Safari 14 or higher

  • device-independent: Smartphone, tablet, desktop, notebook, workstations

  • operating system independent: Android, iOS, Windows 10 or Linux

The Operations1 platform can be used independently of your existing hardware or operating systems. Investing in new systems is not a must. Operations1 allows you to plan independently for the long term. The only requirement is a stable network connection and an up-to-date browser on your end device.

Internet connection

The Operations1 software is a web application and therefore runs predominantly over a network connection via stationary LAN, wireless WLAN or mobile data connection such as LTE.

Up- und Download Minimum

There should be at least a download rate of 16,000 kbit/s and an upload rate of 1,024 kbit/s for smooth use.

It is possible to use parts of the software offline, but the strengths and focus are naturally on networked real-time use.

Hardware

The software can be used regardless of device manufacturer (Apple, Dell, Lenovo, Samsung, etc.) and operating system (Android, iOS, Windows, etc.) as well as device type (smartphone, tablet, notebook, desktop PC, terminal, etc.).

Even older devices with a current browser can be used for the Operations1 platform.

Touch displays are not mandatory. The software can also be used on the store floor via external connected devices such as keyboards or buttons.

Software

The Operations1 platform is software independent and only requires a current Internet browser.

Web browser

We optimize our software for the Google Chrome browser (version 87 or higher) as it optimally supports the latest web technologies.

Browser icons

You can also use the latest version of the Microsoft Edge browser (version 87 or higher). Mozilla Firefox can also be used, but it is optimized with a slight time delay.

On an iOS device (iPad or iPhone), we recommend using the Apple Safari browser (version 14 or higher).

Microsoft Internet Explorer, as well as the older Microsoft Edge version, is explicitly not recommended for use and is no longer supported.

Operating system

Operations1 can be used independently of the operating system. We explicitly support:

  • Android

  • iOS

  • Windows

  • Linux

In addition, other operating systems can be used as long as they support the common technologies.
