Changed – Improved Functions

We've made changes to improve your experience with our software. Here are the details:

Scheduling Rules in new Intervals

We're thrilled to announce a major update to our scheduling feature in Operations1. Now, you can schedule rules at various intervals - hourly, daily, monthly, yearly, and anything in between. The previous version of scheduling was solely based on weeks; eg yearly was "just" the same as weekly times fifty-two. We have changed that to allow way more flexibility. An example: If you wanted a recurring event that takes place every six weeks, or bimonthly, you could not achieve this with the old version. Now that - and more - is possible.

Why Enhanced Scheduling?

  • More flexibility to tailor rules to your factory's real needs.

  • Precision control for critical processes.

  • Streamlined automation for routine tasks.

  • Accommodate "uneven" cycles effortlessly.

The changes are:

  1. New frequency: hourly

  2. New frequency: daily

  3. Reworked frequency: monthly

  4. Reworked frequency: yearly

  5. New starting time: now in 30 min intervals

  6. Event duration now available in minutes

rule scheduling with new frequency

Existing scheduled rules will of course still be available and functional. They are converted to weekly configured rules and can be edited with the new functionality. We firmly believe this new method of scheduling allows a tighter fit between our software and your processes.

User Creation and Management UI update

We've overhauled user creation and user management in Operations1. The previous UI was -honestly- lacking behind our own design principles. Now we can ensure a pleasant and seamless experience. Administrators can easily change passwords, and we've added special information for SSO users. Enjoy a smoother user management journey!

  • The UX is now finally up to our own speck.

  • You can now enable and disable password login for SSO.

  • "Last updated" for passwords is now available.

Operations1 Developer Portal

Not part of our software itself, noteworthy nonetheless: At Operations1, we believe that innovation thrives on collaboration. Our Developer Portal is a centralized hub where developers and integrators can access documentation and developer tools to seamlessly integrate with our robust platform. This portal is tailored to enable you to enhance applications, automate processes, and solve real-world challenges.

We know of the importance of integrations for successful operations. In order to ensure the highest level of robustness, we have introduced a dedicated Developer-Newsletter which is used to communicate updates, breaking changes, and deprecations in advance to make sure nothing mission-critical will break. You can enroll over here to get the latest news on our CLI-Tool, our Webhooks, and soon on our Operations1 REST API.

Fixed – Corrected Functionality Impairments

  • Line breaks within the 'free text' field of the report are omitted, leaving longer texts hard to read

  • Users are unable to access interaction tags settings (even with the right permissions)

  • Moving Interactions to another process step causes an error

  • Instructions are not filtered/displayed according to the set app language

  • Request information interaction now contains user information (userID) within the payload
