A new perspective for Reports and Extended Access Control

Changed – Improved Functions

We're excited to announce some new features and improvements to our platform based on valuable feedback from our users. In this latest update, we have introduced two major changes that will enhance the overall user experience and streamline workflows.

New Overview of the Assistant Report

We've introduced a new drawer component that opens from the right, providing a detailed overview of steps and process steps, mandatory and optional entries, media files, and failed entries. This new overview can be accessed by clicking on the 'Contents' button at the bottom of the screen, and it can be closed using the X button in the top right corner.

In addition, users can navigate and click on the steps and process steps to jump to specific sections of the instruction. The new logic also displays which steps and process steps have been started, filled, or failed, along with additional information such as media thumbnails, count of optional and mandatory entries, and failed interactions.

Finally, users can complete a report by clicking on the button in the drawer at the bottom, which is disabled if there are any mandatory interactions left in the instruction.


Access Control (in early access only) Extended to Reports

We've also made some important changes to the access control for documents and reports. With this update, users who are granted access to a document will automatically be granted access to all its reports. This new feature streamlines the process of managing access control and simplifies workflows for our users.

We've also changed the way duplication and access control interact. Duplication now replicates all the same properties, including access control. With this new update, all users and groups that had access to the original document will also have access to the duplicate, making it easier to manage and share documents.


Overall, these new features represent some significant improvements to our platform, and we're confident that they'll make a real difference for our users.
