New – New Version of the Public API
We have released a new version (2025-04-21) of our Public API. All related information can be found in our Developer Portal.
Among other things, two endpoints are now available to simplify document translation outside of Operations1. You can export document content using GET /documents/{documentId}/export. After the content has been translated externally (e.g., by third parties), it can be re-imported using POST /tenants/{tenantId}/documents/translations.
The easiest way to translate a document into any language remains our AI-based translation feature directly within Operations1.
Changed – Clearer Distinction Between Responsibility and Access
In the area of orders and tasks, we have renamed certain fields related to access control to make them easier to understand. From now on, we will differentiate more clearly why a user is granted access to a specific piece of content:
Access can be granted directly to individual entities, inherited (e.g., via a document or report), or as a result of one or more users or groups being assigned responsibility for an order or task.
A responsible user or group is accountable for ensuring that content is processed correctly. These individuals automatically receive access to the corresponding content.
Through the responsibility mode, it can be defined whether — and what kind of — responsibility is required to start an order.
Since a user with access is not automatically responsible, we will continue to implement improvements in this area and introduce new features, such as direct access management.
Fixed – Functionality Issues Resolved
Inserting a space when creating new tags within documents is now possible again.
Uploading longer videos now works again in the native app, regardless of the device used.
