Changed – improved functions

Rearrange documents in orders and rules and set the execution mode

Have you ever set up an order or a rule? If so, you probably noted that the order of the documents could not be changed. Ensuring that documents are shown in the right sequence has probably taken you a while since you needed to add documents one by one.

This is not the case anymore. With the newest release, we allow you to rearrange documents in orders and rules as you wish. In addition, you are now able to add documents or reports in between.

You can either change the sequence by drag-and-dropping the document or report to its desired position, or by editing the number in front of each line.

Changing document sequence

You can add further documents in between documents, by selecting the document after which the new one should be inserted. For started orders, it is also possible to add reports in between through the same behavior.

Add documents or reports in between others

In addition to adjusting the document sequence, it is now also possible to change the execution mode of the order. You can set it to either parallel or sequential execution. Parallel execution will allow working on several reports in the order in parallel, while a sequential execution mode will prohibit the start of a report so long as the previous one has not been completed. Via the latter execution mode, you are now able to enforce a certain sequence, in which reports have to be executed.

The new features, which are applicable for both orders and rules, are also coming with a change to the user interface. While previously, the document and report cards included a lot of details and were hard to read, these details are now moved into a drawer that opens to the right, once you select a card. Within the right drawer, it is still possible to change details specific to the report if your role is assigned with the correct rights to do so.

New user interface for orders and rules

Please be aware that the new functionalities require an adjustment to your permissions. If you are not able to access them, please reach out to your customer success manager or our support team.

We hope that the new functionalities help to guide shopfloor workers even better and provide you with more flexibility in creating orders as you wish. We look forward to receiving your feedback on the functionalities as well as the new design of orders and rules. Please reach out to your customer success manager or our support team with any feedback or questions.

Support Chat now available from Login Page

If you ever had an issue with Operations1 and were still on the login page on the platform, you might have noted that there was no possibility to contact our support via chat.

To support new users or help with the login, we have now made the chat available also from the login page. Via the button in the lower right corner, it is possible to contact our support team, e.g. to ask for a password reset.

Chat button on login page

By moving the chat button to the login page, we hope to reduce effort for login issues. Users are now able to request help directly from Operations1 support colleagues, instead of having to find out the contact details of their admin users or even going to the Operations1 website.

Let us know if you have any questions regarding the new chat service. Our support team and your customer success manager is looking forward to your feedback.
