Allow camera use in Operations1

In Operations1, you can use your device's camera to, for example, use the QR code scanner or directly take photos or videos when creating your documents or as media feedback when filling out reports. To use the camera on your device, you must give permission for it in the browser. Depending on which browser you use, once you decline the request, it may not show up again via a pop-up prompt.

Activating the camera permission afterwards

If you have blocked the request and it does not reappear again, you need to enable the permission afterwards to use it. Without enabling your camera in the browser, the use of the camera app is affected.

  • To do this, click on the camera sign in the top right corner of the Chrome browser and select that access is allowed.

  • In the Microsoft Edge browser, the camera icon is located in the upper right corner, just like in the Chrome browser.

  • In the Mozilla Firefox browser, the camera icon is located in the upper left corner.

  • In the Apple Safari browser, the prompt is always displayed again even if you decline.

Then refresh the browser and you can use the device's camera.
