New – Assign Tasks to Groups and Multiple Users

With the latest version of Operations1, it is now possible to assign a Task not only to a single user but also to multiple users or even a group. This aims to provide greater flexibility in collaboration, ensuring that, for example, when colleagues are on vacation, others can take over the work. Additionally, all assigned users and group members are informed through the newly released notifications from a few weeks ago.

Furthermore, access to Tasks is controlled via the assignment field in the Task if you are using access control on your platform. If an employee needs access to a Task, you can control this via the assignment field. When a Task is created from a Report, not only the assigned users or groups gain access to the Task, but also everyone who previously had access to the Report. As a reminder, here is the link to the article on access control, which includes explanations and setting suggestions.

New – Support for Excel Files in AI Document Automator

With support for the XLSX file format, the AI Document Automator offers even more possibilities for document creation. All sheets of an XLSX file are uploaded into the same document, simplifying the editing process.

All information about the AI Document Automator can be found in this article.

Changed – Improved Functionality

  • The AI Document Automator has been enhanced with an AI credit feature that displays how often the automator has been used. This provides users with a clear overview of their past and remaining available imports. This addition increases transparency and makes it easier to track usage.

  • In the notification center, which now opens to the right for better menu clarity, not only can all notifications be marked as "read," but also individual ones. To do this, simply click the blue dot of a new notification, and it will be marked as read. The other notifications will retain their unread status, as indicated by the blue dot. This improves clarity and allows users to keep certain notifications as reminders.

  • Via the Public API, the field “numFinishedSteps” is now available, showing the number of completed steps in a report. This eliminates the previously complex calculation of processing status and significantly facilitates integration with dashboard tools.

Fixed – Functionality Impairments Corrected

  • Line breaks in texts are now correctly displayed in Report views and PDF exports.

  • Tables can once again be sorted using saved filters.

  • Documents with change notes can now be executed as Reports even if they are still in progress.

  • The modification date of older Document versions remains unchanged when the document is set to "Make visible to others."

  • The Report now starts in the selected language, regardless of the interface language, and switching the language within the report is now possible.
