New β Access Control in Task Overview Activated
The "Access Control" feature has been extended to include tasks. When a task is assigned to an employee, it appears in the task table where it can be opened and edited. Access to tasks is managed not only through direct assignment but also via the assignment of the report from which the task was created. If users have access to a report, they can also view and access the tasks created from it. This means that members of a group assigned to a report can also view the corresponding tasks.
With the addition of tasks, the access control feature is further enhanced. Alongside documents, reports, and orders, all content-bearing elements of the platform can now be specifically managed. In the coming months, we plan to introduce group assignments for tasks, allowing users to choose between user and group assignment during task creation. As soon as this feature is available, you will be informed through the usual channels.
