New - Unveiling the New PDF Report
The new PDF report shines with the same elegance as the report overview we recently released. The option to use the new PDF is now available in the same menu as before. Both visually and in terms of content, we have unified the formats of the "digital report in Operations1," "externally shared report," and "PDF." Additionally, we have introduced exciting new features:
The new PDF can be exported in any status, meaning the report does not need to be finalized but can still be in progress.
The configuration of the PDF has been simplified and reduced to essential points.
Through the preview, users can decide whether the configuration is suitable before saving.
It is possible to choose between two image sizes for uploaded images.
PDF generation is also available in our iOS and Android apps.
What’s Next? We want to continue learning from customer feedback and incorporate potential improvements in the future. In the next step, we will make the new PDF available for automations and integrations via our API. The previous PDF will then be gradually phased out over the coming year.
New - Access Control Rolled Out
Following the rollout of the “access control” feature in recent weeks, we have added another component to simplify the transition for customers from class filter setups (visibility restriction) to access control (access restriction). With the new version, it is possible to perform a bulk assignment within documents. In other words, you can select multiple documents at once in the document table and assign access to these documents to groups or individual users through the "Actions" menu. This accelerates the assignment process, as it is no longer necessary to change access rights for each document individually. The same option is also available within the report table.
New - Document Import (Beta)
The value of Operations1 is generated by employees executing reports. If work instructions and checklists already exist, users want to avoid or simplify the document creation process in Operations1 as much as possible. For this reason, we are working on an AI-powered feature to import existing Word, PDF, PowerPoint, or Excel documents directly into Operations1. We will soon begin releasing this feature for test customers.
Changed - Improved Features
Open tasks are now displayed directly at the step level in the new report overview. This makes it easier to locate tasks still to be completed, especially in reports with lengthy steps and multiple work activities and interactions. Once the tasks are completed, the notification will no longer be displayed.
At the end of 2024, we will discontinue support for our iOS app on iOS version 15.X due to necessary updates. From that point, it will be required that iPhones and iPads run on iOS version 16.X or higher to use our native app. Access through the browser remains possible from any device with the latest versions of Safari.
