New - Access Control Rolled Out
A few days before the release of version 9.13, we rolled out the access control functionality for all customers.
Since then, it has been possible to restrict access to content on the platform through the assignment of users to groups and the allocation of groups or users to documents. This means that not only is the visibility of content restricted (as is the case with class filters, for example), but access to content outside the assigned documents is also not possible.
For example, if a document link is shared with a user but a group assignment is missing, access will be blocked. This way, you can ensure that employees only have access to the content relevant to their work. You can use groups to separate departments and limit administrative areas accordingly.
In the following two articles, the function is explained in more detail, including how to create groups and assign them to content. Additionally, an example explains how the separation of organizational units within your company can be structured.
Changed - Improved Features
A few weeks ago, we adjusted the text search for searching reports by order title to enable fast and performant searches even with report numbers in the seven-digit range. From now on, all text-based searches will only start after the third entered character.
Fixed - Functionality Impairments Corrected
Zeros are no longer automatically entered into the upper and lower tolerance limits of the number feedback interaction when changes to the interaction are made.
In the "Report Completed" webhook, information on structure classes/elements is once again included.
